I strongly suggest reading the manual before getting in game. NS has the harshest learning curve of any game I've ever seen, by far, and people unfortunately have very little patience for new players at this point.

I've been reading that link you posted. it looks really hard, but it also looks fun.

Funny as hell, most of the time... BUT also frustrating sometimes, challenging full time; when Black Sun says is hard to learn, believe him.

Playing with the right people, it can be the most amazing game ever. It's also, sadly, the easiest game I've ever seen to grief, and can turn from enjoyable to head-against-wall frustrating in the blink of an eye. Still, well worth it in my opinion.
