Anyway, Uber's set out to make a "spiritual successor" to the Total Annihilation series of yore (setting aside Supreme Commander), and they're crowdfunding it through Kickstarter. I always liked TA and SupComm, and with the state of PC gaming being what it is today, it's always nice to see new developers step into the breach. I know that the crowdfunding model isn't perfect, but Uber Entertainment has a pretty solid track record and they have a bunch of alumni from Chris Taylor's merry band of pirates at GPG and ye olde Humongous Games of yesteryear - hence the familiarity of unit design and such to anyone who's ever played TA or SupComm in the past.
So, take a look, chip in a few bucks if you think it's interesting. Support indy publishing! Yeah! Now let's all hold hands and sing songs...
