Ya I got that problem a couple of times if recall correctly tuneup or something in that line was used to restore all the icons back; since then found out athat a couple of primary partitions for data and programs can the trick for a fresh reinstall. Also nowadays I'm sandboxing everything dangerous like keygens and such. Looks like it is not a dangerous exploit IMO.
