Obey the wise advice of Largo-Sensei, or find a local l33t to train you in the ways of th3 1337 and do it for ye.

low end video card and a 2.2ghz "processor"
We need to know what type of chip there as it does make a difference.

It'll do.
It won't do well... What Largo Sensei says (see above^) is not without merit. Those pre-built systems cut every corner they can to maximize profit and undercut pricing. Dell’s are cheap for a reason. "Pagar un poco, pagar ahora mucho más tarde", as they say.
It is entirely likely that, should a new fancy game you want to play pops up next year, it will not play it tolerably. Tis why I think it would have been better to find a local nerd to build the system properly for you from individual, quality, parts, as the system would have a much longer life span, in addition to massively improved performance and stability. But if you have no access to nerds, and no l33tness of yer own, I suppose Dell’s have to do. :/
It's also worth pointing out that Vista+OpenGL+ATI = TFC will run like crap. Although it'll probably be fine in DirectX mode. The newer ATI cards do not properly support OpenGL under Vista (which your Dell will, no doubt, come with, despite your order).

my computers been set up for about a week, i love it. but at this point ANYTHING was better than my old ass HP. so far no problems *fingers crossed* its so much faster, runs smoothly and i can play all of my games (b all games i mean sims 2, tf2, tfc) with no problems and no sluggishness.
thanks for all your input, but unfortunately i just didn't have the time, or patients, to have someone build me one.

Wait a year.
Did you actually get XP when you asked for it?

Blah, damnit... TWICE now I've a client send orders for Dell's in sets of eight and sixteen, and BOTH times, when they ordered XP they got Vista units instead - which means yours truly has to go through them all and format to them to XP - which also means a fair amount of time finding drivers for XP, in a few cases, third party hacked drivers (there being no actual XP drivers). I dun mind the extra cash, but jeeze, I need to find your Dells sales rep and point them to him.
