Anyone else have microphone problems in NS? I can't use my microphone when I'm dead or commanding, and if I hold down my mic transmit button as I get into the chair or die it gets stuck on until I logout of the chair or respawn.

You have conflicts with your binded mic key and the default commmander hotkeys.

I think.

If you have voice set to a mouse bind, it will have those problems.

Yeah, I have my mic bound to F, which is one of the commander hotkeys.

I had to also bind the ALT key, that way I can use mic in the chair.

Oh, I'm so sorry what is this helpful bullshit. This isnt what I meant to post.

What I meant to say was:

Thanks goo, I think that's the case. I have my mic bound to mouse4, the side button. I'll set an alternative next time I play :)

All the following keys are out:
The first four letters of the left side of all three rows (ie. QWER, ASDF, and ZXCV), Shift, number keys 1-5 (hotgroups), spacebar (cc: next request/event in que), L (cc: select all troops), the entire numberic pad (cc scrolling), mouse1-3, (mouse4-5 varies with type of mouse, other mouse buttons also vary with mouse type and config), and the scroll wheel (which would just be odd anyways).

Cuz on most mice, it'll make you mute in the comm chair.

What's wrong with being mute? Some of the best comms on the server are the ones who don't talk. Like me, I don't even have a voice key binded.
