Came out yesterday, tried it today. Needless to say it lived up to my expectations, the game is great. The puzzles are challenging while not impossible. Graphics are cool, the portal launcher is really neat adaptation of the gravity gun.

The portals function pretty much exactly how you would expect them to work and they are very neat. The game offers plenty of physics abuse so people who like to exploit will have a good time with that (looking at yogurt).

The game itself was relatively short (can beat in a few hours) but still exceedingly fun to play.
There is an advanced mode (which I have not yet tried out so I'm not sure exactly what is advanced about it) and a few bonus/custom maps. (I imagine modders and third parties will be creating even more custom maps for the game).

Thothie might not like the sentry guns because they remind me a good deal of tachikomas. They appologize for shooting you etc. etc. The AI who narrates the game has a sadistic sense of humor which adds a whole lot more depth to the game.

In a way its reminiscent of an old half-life 1 mod I reviewed years ago. (I wish I could remember the name). The only difference is these puzzles are actually possible to figure out, and it doesn't suck.

I say TRY IT!

I think the grammar could use a little work. At least one extra comma, or a scoch of reworking. "....without it, for it would rather die..."

You haven't played it yet, have you?

Listen to her voice, and then tell me she needs more grammar.

It's more in character without it.

The end credits from Portal. It's freaking hilarious. Don't watch if you want to experience it for yourself etc.

That song was written by Jonathan Coulton. He's hilarious.

I played through it twice in one sitting, to listen to the commentary mode. It was mostly worth it, it's always cool to hear about the design decisions the development team went through while playtesting it.

I want to be a Valve playtester :(

Catchy!

"...I'm being so sincere. Even though you broke my heart and killed me."

I can't seem to find it on itunes.

Edit: Bam, torrented it. In 5 minutes it will be on my ipod. :)
