I found http://www.empiresmod.com/ and i was wondering if anyone else has tried it. Only other HL mod i know that has RTS commanders like NS. Got some pretty nice modeling too...

Played it back in....some beta.
Looked interesting. Was still very rough though.

Yay for monopolistic market share of FPS/RTS hybrids!
In all honesty, I don't see the NS community migrating to a similar game anytime soon. Maybe if NS2 ever comes out, we'll migrate to that. Almost 5 years says a lot.

no one plays it. Check the Steam Server Stats. It's bottom of the list.
It looks kinda cool, but I'm guessing it requires giant numbers of players and a good commander to be any fun. So, they never quite hit critical mass for it to be any good. Plus, they haven't implemented airplanes. =[
