Shit sucks, they give some random Steam error to everyone within 10 minutes of the game. Aliens can't evolve. CO barely lasts if you're cheaping on bots.

The only JRNS server responding to me at all, at the moment, is the CO server. I reset that in hopes that it will update if need be. Dunno what's happened to the classic server.

Meh, after a couple of retries, I manage to contact and reset the classic server as well. User count was only up to 300-some-odd though - generally that means it hasn't been up all that long, so that reset may not have helped anything.

Also was getting some weird drops from that server for awhile there, hence the delay in contacting it. :\

should put in a plug-in that allows map vote, not talking about the "co co_faceoff" cause this doesn't work with ns maps :(

Generally frown on that as voting democracy tends to result in repeating the same two maps over and over again. Glad to know some folks are still playing on the server though... I've not had a game in ages. :(

What part of that first sentence didn't you understand? :)

I would like to rig it so you can go mass bots vs. marines in NS mode to fill the server, but allowing bots in NS mode has always led to abuse.

Well it's not that I didn't understand, I just prefer to vote for maps. Besides if the majority of people choose that map then shouldn't they be able to play it?

Because the majority of people can only agree on one or two maps. This is the same lowest common denominator phenomenon that we see in our RL local democracy that results in nearly all politicians being either Republican or Democrat, despite the fact that both parties have an approval rating of under 20%. :)

We do not wish to be imprisoned by mob rule feigning as democracy the way nearly all the other servers are - thus we have the forced freedom of random variety. ;)

You'll just have to learn to play Shiva and Machina. :P

We might take away your right to choose your lover, have sex, earn or even request a living wage, leave the country, live anywhere but jail, avoid unnecessary search and seizure, have any sort of privacy, choose your music, have access to medical care, actually own anything, determine what your taxes go towards, not to give at least 90% of your wages to our corporate sponsors, or disagree with us in any way - but rest assured, we'll never take away your LMG (unless, of course, we declare you, or anyone you've ever had any sort of contact with, a terrorist, communist, or otherwise anti-American). ;)

Awww...

I think there's still plenty of NS servers out there where you can play the same two maps over and over again. I'm not sure though - as I've not really tried to play in quite awhile, not having been able to find any servers where this wasn't the case, besides Jiggly's. :\
