I highly recommend looking at what asmodee has to offer from a coding standpoint in terms of ns server with unobtrusive plugins.

you can choose to auto mute folks with hlss, have a short planning time each round, etc

Maybe I'll look into it. No harm in breaking a dead server, I suppose.

Help a bit if you could link me the plugins - freaking modns.org is getting impossible to use.

Meh, wish I'd noticed, I was in last night - and I was beating up bots on the NS server about 3pm that day for 15-20mins, just "hoping", I guess I'd given up by the time you guys started - or you started on the CO server.

I was spamming friends messages to folks, we wound up getting 5 on 5. A little server lag but that is the jigglyroom

Thoth, Asmodee has this philosophy when he codes for ns, and it's a fucking savage one.

heh, I think he is working on a ban manager that scans a page of his forums and updates based on the subject of threads in a controlled forum

Also he is slowly porting NS to sawce, he has all the "hard" things done (commander mode, weapons, etc, etc) he just needs sprites and other assorted goodies

server seems unstable

it's crashing frequently

as much as we rub each other the wrong way, asmo does some good shit. can't wait to move so i can get internet again ;_;
