Thoth make the avatars work! It throws an error when I try to upload via a web site, and tells me that it must be less than 30kb in size (when it's 19kb in size) when I try to upload from my machine.

Never mind. Photoshop says that the file size would be 16k, but it shows up on the hard drive as 32k. Weird.
