I have a feeling this has been brought up before, but I can't find where at the moment. Basically, sometimes the map goes to Combat (usually to repopulate the server), and then when we're ready to go back to Classic, we find there's still 10 minutes of unwanted Combat left. It would be very nice to be able to vote back to Classic.

Well, I refuse to install a map voter, because you wind up doing the same two maps over and over again... However, been considering writing up something that'll let you time out the map, so when the current round ends it'll go to the next map in the cycle. (Maybe typing "new map" in chat, or some such.)

That sounds great to me! It was actually what I meant, except that, since we don't always have 7 players when we want to go back to Classic, it'd be nice if time outs never used the Combat cycle, especially since we can vote CO maps anyways. So, a time out vote on a CO map would use the next NS map. But yeah, definitely no to full map voting.

Not too worried about accidental votes since all it does is time out the map on the next round. It doesn't end the current game or anysuch, so no "*poof*".
