everybody right now is saying the guy Howie is hacking, they said he has an aimbot and was doing it last night as well, but apparently your supposed to read people's minds to find this out since according to them if you were doing your job you would know he was hacking and since they are all apparently to stupid to post I am

Remember that fiasco that killed the server.cfg the other day?

It killed the ban list too. >_>

Meh, I'm restoring bans from my database. Meantime, will attempt to contact His Pinkness and see if he has a recent backup of our (extraordinarily extensive) ban list.

I think we ban at least five trolls for every hacker. >_>

Although the fact that the NS server's been running like 5 years now, maybe the real reason for its exteniveness. Granted, I'm sure its been wiped during that time, but there was also a time when the TFC and NS banlists automagically merged, and I'm not sure if/when that stopped.

Possible aimbot, can't be 100% sure but it seems pretty blatant to me. Was on until a second ago. Gabe and Rain, f and a couple others are of the same opinion. Probably not enough to take action on, but keep an eye out.

4PST were just being idiots spamming constantly UD is on top in chat and were being detrimental, they ejected our commander and proceeded to either recycle or just not drop anything, I wasn't at base to find out, they think NS is for "faggots" as they put it and are only interested in CO so I just don't see them as being anything other than harmful to the server

Thoth, you need to make a steam account so we can add you to our friends list and pester you when idiots are on the server

didn't see it myself except he was 25-1 as a marine when I joined, just as soon as I joined, 3 people on aliens team told me he was a hacker and gave me his steamid but they didn't know how to report it

Yeah, I've definitely suspected shark-wielding bear a number of times. I think I even managed to spec him at one point, but I don't remember what I came away with ultimately.
