REPORTING CHEATERS, LLAMAS, H4X0RZ, AND OTHER TROUBLE MAKERS
Step #1 - Get an ID: After finding someone who annoys you so much you just
have to have them banned, bring down your console (~) and type "status" (sans quotes). You will see something along these lines:
* ID's altered to protect the guilty
Steam_ID's begin with "STEAM" and end with the space following, as highlighted in the examples above. Be sure to give us the Steam ID in its
entirety.
You can drag over a Steam_ID with your cursor, highlight it, right click on it, and clip
copy to ease this process, assuming you know how to copy and paste.
Step #2 - Post Here: All you'll need to report is:
- Steam_ID in it's
entirety, as described
- name
- time stamp (when it happened, include your time zone - note: server is GMT-8:00)
- a description of the offense
- and
server (currently just specify TFC or NS).
H4x reports generally require backup witnesses and/or a demo.
We do not ban for abusive language, nor for abuse that only extends to your person (team shooting you cuz you called him a name, or what not). The offender must be disrupting the game in some way. The length of the ban will vary with the severity of the disruption.
We also do not ban for cheap play style. So long as you are helping your team, and ye ain't hacking, we don't care. You can pipe enemy spawns, you can block vents with com chairs (or well, you
could if you built them), and you are much more likely to be banned for
not chasing than for chasing. We don't really care.
Generally speaking, we are much more laxed about rules on the TFC server than on the NS server - but we have our limits.
We give temp bans for anything we deem disruptive, the level of which is determined solely by the admin applying the ban. People who are banned may appeal to the forums, but we will require a Steam_ID and a description of the offense. Repeat offenders will be banned permanently. Those who try to bypass bans, by changing ID's or what not, will also be banned permanently and fire-walled.
We do not have a strict policy, but here are some example offenses we typically ban for:

- Early Recycling
- Early "Gorge Forting"
- /stuck abuse / map exploiting
(TFC)
- Flag Holding
- Pipe Lagging
- Team Shooting / Infecting
(Either)
- h4x (speed, wall, aimbot, etc.)
- Server sabotage (eg. deliberate crashing)
- Any attempt to team sabotage or otherwise throw the game
