I heard demos were getting mirvs as a weapon selection choice. not prime-able like they used to be, it will be an actual weapon selection.

I don't mind the spawn timer. Though 15 seconds might be a bit excessive. Maybe the spawn time is a serverside option?

!= == fine
It's the !> that bothers me, and even more so the <
But meh, tis the way the world cookie crumbles.

I can't play longer than 5 mins without it crashing on me. I set my setting from the recommended highs to the meds and some lows and it still crashes....

I played again tonight on 2fort. The server was oh so quiet, and nothing was really happening. The server was full 20+ people, and it was boring. I dunno i just dont understand why doc likes it. Cant even see in 2fort cause of the big ass bridge blocking everything :/

play a scout and you will see why i like it. You are right though, there is not as much sniper action. In the maps that have been released there simply isn't enough open space for a sniper to really excel.

I had fun. The 15sec wait sucks but I can deal with it.
It does feel slow but, then again I thought TFC 1 was slow at first when I first played. If you want FAST, you should go back to Quake2. I'm going to assume i'll get use to the speed once i play a little more.
As for class, they all have their pros and cons. You do get killed pretty easy, but i compare it with NS and I would say it's about the same. (we the TFC players will just have to get better at metal gear solid + NS teamwork kinda play style) I don't think it would feel that bad for NS players. People who only play TFC will think it sucks. The Bridge on the new 2fort is a real challenge for snipers but I'm going to guess in a few months, we would all get use to it and snipers will see more action.
regarding pc specs, I play on my core2 T7200 2.00GHz 2GB RAM, Moblility Radeon X1600 laptop. It runs well enough for me to not complain.

I got you both beat.
I'm running it on an Athlon XP 2700+ 1 gig of PC2700, Radeon 9700 pro
it runs absolutely fine for me. The load times suck, but thats it.
my phillosophy, if i can run it, anyone here should be able to.

In fact, no you can not sticky your own team. I had the same thought, but it didn't pan out. The nades just bounce off. 8-(
