Hi. I'm Norwegian. Hate to break it to you, but the name Erik comes from the old norse Eirikr, and there is no "c" in old norse. plus, the letter 'c' in the current norwegian and danish alphabet is only used in loanwords. Just because all you saxon bitches with your lack of consistent or proper spelling fucked it up doesn't mean I have to sacrifice my correctness to make you feel better.

For example, in this case (since you care) I did approximately this:
1) My name is Erik
2) I am Norwegian (american born)
3) I am named after my great uncle Erik, born and died in norway
4) I know Erik is a norwegian name
5) Having learned some about norwegian culture/etc, I am pretty sure the language doesn't contain english retardedness like multiple letters that do the same thing (c does the same thing as k and s)
6) wrote up a paragraph
7) dropped some wikipedia bombs for accuracy checking
 added the old norse derivate Eirikr for completeness (from wikipedia)
9) got bitched at by some dumb hoe because she doesn't see how its possible for someone to know more than basic reading and writing skills.
