Last couple of nights i have tried to log in it just freezes minecraft then after a bit tells me "connection lost / end of stream". But last night i was able to log on fine, hmm.

^The last few days have been bumpy on the Minecraft auth server front. Boo. We're about a month away from Minecraft Final so aggressive development is underway back at Mojang... maybe that has something to do with it? No more weird version mismatches and finally a fix for the server lag problem. We'll probably migrate to the new server (most likely minecraft.panduck.com - currently a test world... open to the public) to generate a new seed. Also submitted the test server to the MClist services so it'll probably get new random players jumping in from time to time. I'll try to have hourly backups for snapshots in case trolls try to mess with the world.

Put the 2nd MC server back on the 1.8.1 release. Fortunately, we're less than a month away from MC final which should bring it all inline. Anyone planning on hitting up Minecon?

Yes it is! A few regulars playing already. Too bad for Fixxor... think he was the first one in and bailed after realizing he was like Adam without an Eve in this strange new world :p
