You know steam has sales every Wednesday and weekend, and holiday sales every other month.
15% off isn't really worth getting excited over.

They don't have sales on new games, sure if you want to get last years big game there are better deals. But most of the time the sales are on crappy games or on games that most people have moved on from.

eh... not really, they have deals on new games all the time. In fact, those same games were on sale on steam over the christmas/new years for up to 75% off. I bought mass effect 2 for $10, bad company 2 for $6.80, and civ was on sale for 30$ though I didn't buy it.

That is my point though, Bad Company 2 isn't a new game, everybody I know stopped playing it 6 months ago or more. Nowadays if you don't buy a game within the first month or two, people have moved on. Unless you just want to play the campaigns then by all means, buy the game later when it's on sale.
