Since they opted out of the Source engine, anyone know if they have a stand-alone version of NS2 yet? I keep getting the "This game is currently unavailable" thing from Steam, and can't be bothered to figure out why anymore. >_>
Some vague reference to Australian internet censorship?

Perhaps we could elaborate on that some? 
I've not had much luck with it myself. It buggered out completely on me for awhile, and I only recently got it working again. Even then, it's moider on my graphics card, and unstable as hell. I was fiddling around with it and managed to get it to crash by doing as something as simple as recycling one of the original infantry portals. (It doesn't conform to the old console commands, so I couldn't figure out how to cheat and get some res.)

Last time I played it, fades and lerks were unstoppable, the sound randomly cut out about half way through the map, there was no penalty for dying as a marine, and the flame thrower was still pretty ridiculous. Also, still general issues with hit detection, lag, and the hive textures looked awful.
Has it come very far since then?
