I saw one of these in someones car and had to wait for them to see what kinda dog it was it looked so cool / tough.Males get up to 140 lbs ! I want one ! They look alot like neopilitan mastiffs without the drooling.I like german shepherds alot also but you really need to get them from good stock there are way to many backyard breeders :x

You can really see in some of them where the great dane came from.My parents had 1 b4 I was born that was a dark pure brindle male.It literally ate them out of house and home...they had to give him away to a friend of my pops :(

Ya my ex gf had a pure brindle colored Mastiff that was straight up scary :!: His bark and growl were so fierce you knew that mofo meant business  Not to mention he was around 205 lbs lol

I had a brindle english bulldog that lived almost 14 yrs  She was a killer watch dog and didnt know what the word fear was.She was like a foot and a half tall but weighed 65 lbs. of raw muscle and meathead lol.I like the olde english bulldogges but alot of them are pitbull looking and I cant have those in my neighborhood :(

I have 2 Chow Chows, a black one and a red one. I've had a total of 3 of em now and a Eurasier. Best dogs ever. They're not great if you have kids, but they're quiet and good watch dogs. Any nobody wants to mess with em because of their reputation. My favorite one is the red one I have now, I got her from a Chow rescue service about 5 years ago now, but she's gettin old, she's 10 now. Her name is Dandylion, we call her Dandy for short. The black one I got at the same time also from a rescue service, she's 9 and has some health issues. She was from MO. and was found living in the wild eating garbage and what ever she could find.

My all time favorite one was the Eurasier, I had her since she was a puppy, she was black. However, the worst thing about it was she only lived to be 3. She came down with Lou Gehrigs disease or ALS. I took her to the USF Vet hospital, It was the second case of that in a dog that they have ever seen in the history of the school. It was heart wrenching to watch her decline, I miss her horribly. RIP Sable. <3

I think when the 2 I have now are gone, I'm gonna get another Eurasier.

Chows are cool dogs I like the way they look and their natural protectivesness is excellent. My buddy had a pair of black ones and the sneaky bastards would hide in the shadows at night and then procede to scare the shit outta ya :o Thanks for chainlink fences eh cause they definately had bad intentions. My buddy Dizzy had an akita that was the same way wait till you got close then go apeshit :!:
