What's going on over there in serverland? My ping is normally 54.

Yes, but it's also true that I had to bite marines 4 times to get 2 to land. Anyone playing at the time knows what I'm talking about. It really sucked.
That, and 110 kills at 13 minutes? Wow.

To be fair, they may have beaten you in kills, but you far out-did them in deaths. That's gotta count for something, right?

Whew - A couple of people were under 50ms. That basically means it wasn't the server - it's the pipe running to the box. FYI, we went from the Savvis/Exodus network (which is the best, bar none but the most expensive) to Cogent (which is the biggest turd in backbone land). Not much I can do unless anyone has any hookups at an ISP that can help me out with inexpensive or free bandwidth.
...Didn't think so.

If you live in a Comcast area I could get you hooked up with business class at your residence. You'd be looking at a maximum of 8 down / 1 up for bandwidth though. And that costs $170 a month with a contract. To it's credit though it's guaranteed up time and you get 24/7 support.
The server needs fatter pipes

That’s 56k dial-up, compared to what we have now.
I love that it’s gotten to the point where if anyone’s ping is above 50 we complain.

Our pipes still need to be fatter.
*I'm* willing to pay monthly for a good reliable NS server. One that I don't have 150 ping too, TYVM. I don't know about you folk, but if money is what the Pink needs to get phat p1p35 then money he shall have.
