Are the rain gods trying to quell the volcano god again? Run out of virgin's to sacrifice? Did the isles of Hawaii finally come to their senses and realize they were better off underwater - where there's fewer tourists?
Over here, now that the state’s no longer on fire, we have this lovely fog… Just makes me want to walk out the door, and never come back. So lovely…
( I guess, once again, the forums have declined to discussing the weather. )

How bout that 100 car pile up. Today it was nice overcast, perfect temp and working on my bug was nice. Hopefully it will snow this winter.

"Elinor," cried Marianne "is this fair, is this just? Are my ideas so scanty? But I see what you mean. I have been too much at my ease, too happy, too frank. I have erred against every commonplace notion of decorum; I have been open and sincere where I ought to have been reserved, spiritless, dull, and deceitful. Had I talked only of the weather and the roads, and had I spoken only once in ten minutes, this reproach would have been spared."

Nothing could be worse than Walden by Thoreau. I literally fell asleep within 3 minutes of attempting to read it, and this was early afternoon.

I actually liked that piece. I had the opportunity to be in Boston last year, near Walden pond. I wanted to visit it, but alas, I did not have the time.

Walden wasn't so bad... If it makes ya sleepy, Thoreau's "Civil Disobedience" maybe more up your alley... It's at least more to the point (er a little...). Jeeze, I miss Boston.
