Live recordings always fail to capture, so I thought I'd be kind, and that a produced song might be better: But I Was Wrong.

42 albumns between the four incarnations of the band in over 31 years. The goddess-queen has done every form of music under the sun (except rap, but that doesn’t count, as it isn’t music anyways) with every instrument known to man, and rarely ever sounded the same twice. Makes it pretty easy to stay with one band, save maybe an escort or two, and some string-heavy classical.

Plus all these other bands these days so easy. ;)

Also, I have ironic quote in my database I just noticed:

I agree with Yogurt, Modest Mouse - We were dead before the ship even sank(song Dashboard) is an excellent album. In fact, its probably my favorite of all their albums, which is not a common occurrence among new albums these days.

Also try:
Modest Mouse: Good News for People who like Bad News (single Float On)
Porcupine Tree: In Absentia (song Blackest Eyes) This Song is not On Guitar Hero, but the only place I could find it on youtube was either here or some harry potter video.
Cake: Fashion Nugget (song: I Will Survive Cover) They are Kind of Like Beck.
Queens of the Stone Age : Songs for the Deaf (song Go with a Flow)
QoTSA Songs for the Deaf - Cowboy Beebop Video This is the self titled song from that album, I thought the video was kind of neat.

Korn for the most part is pretty terrible Psuedo-Goth nU Metal (a Hot Topic Favorite) along the same page as Disturbed, Him, etc.

Korn has alot of "signature songs." Arguably their most popular is Freak on a Leash which has been remixed/redone several several times. Their latest release of Freak on a Leash (on the Evolution album) is a live recording featuring Amy Lee from Evanesence. Its terrible, Jonathan Davis' (singer for Korn) voice totally clashes with Amy Lee's. They don't mix well together at all. It's especially noticable in the breakdown where Amy Lee starts doing her patented "over the top wailing session" while Jonathan sits in the background yelling GO! GO! GO! It sounds like something out of Bevis and Butthead. Terrible job.

Songs that aren't bad by korn:
Falling Away From Me
Got The Life
Korn's Cover of "Word Up"
Coming Undone

That being said, they are still pretty bad. They have made a market for themselves appealing to immature angsty teenage girls.. (Note most of the people I have known to really like Korn are females in their teens who think nobody understand them) Yes I am a hater.

LOLZ  - That's so beautiful, it brought tears to my eyes. ;)

Ah, AMV's... If not for those, I'd never hear any new music at all.

My favorite Bebop AMV: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p7EONScLrHg
Mad video editing skills, mad skillz song too. ;)

Dunno the others either... But seems more neo-metal than wannabe-goth to me. They too angry. Depression is anger without the enthusiasm. Little V is more in touch with the younger Goths than I am, but I know she don’t play any of that at her all-ages goth clubs.

Ah, Evanesence I know of (also, thanks to an AMV). I hear that song at malls and such mixed in with some rap (great way to butcher and already butchered song). There used to be a lot of chatter about them being the premier face of what was then the emerging “Corporate Goth” in the LAgoth.net forums (RIP). Many things far too dastardly to repeat were said of them.

Hey, some of the best moments of my youth were spent with immature angsty teenage girls! Granted, I wouldn’t want to listen to their music, for the most part, or to them for that matter. ;) Still…

Dunno a lot of people hate korn just because of the popularity they have now and the "goth" following. Goths have there own little world, and as long as they keep too themselves and stfu its ok, if not they all can go die. I like korn because of what they sing about, what the songs are about and how they do it. I can relate to a lot of the lyrics and what he talks about. I like probably 99% of all the songs they have done.

Badly done live version. Apparently Ronan can't sing on command.

VNV Nation - "Honour"

Cold voices, faces pale

Gathered unto their Judgment Day

Stand your ground, this is what we are fighting for, for our spirit, laws and ways

Cry havoc and let slip the dogs of war, for heaven nor hell - we shall not wait

This song and the lyrics put images of genocide in my mind - a final stand in the face of extinction.

No, I deffinately hate Korn for their crappy lyrics, generic sounding guitar rifts, terrible sounding "melodies", and their "I'm so am so angry I have millions of dollars" image. I don't hate bands for their fanbase, if that were the case I would have hated Tool long ago.

Your musical taste makes me cry. You sound like a black person trying to justify listening to gangsta rap "I LIKES WHATS DEY SING ABOUT YO. THE WORDS APPEALS TA ME."

Yeah Cake is something else for sure. It just recently occurred to me that they are probably a gay band.

Well, the point was the music not so much the AMV. Though if it helps spread the magic that was Queens of the Stoneage first album, I'm all for it.
(I have never seen cowboy beebop NO SPOILERS! ><)

I will give you that you are much further up on the whole goth scene than I. But I can tell you, based on my experience with korn fans, 90% of them are those that shop at hot topic, hate their parents, wear foamy shirts, etc. etc.

He's singing about all the fucked up shit he's been through in life and a lot of other stuff people go through in life. They try to bring some different sounds into there latest albums and such. Even so besides the lyrics its not what its about, you just hate the music they play so it doesnt matter.

What a dumb ass comment. Never compare me to a black person again. And rap is not music so it cant be in this discussion. So i guess my musical taste sucks, so these are the bands i like and can currently remember off the top of my head. If these bands suck then so be it.
