I finally saw Paprika, I have to say it was a really amazing movie. The art direction was beautiful. I didn't realize it was by the same director who did Tokyo Godfathers until the very end when they had the movie poster. Then it all clicked on how similar the art style and colors were. I'm sorry I doubted the great yogurt and animeLOL.

Indeed. Bloody weird art style, but it grows on you. I like that show quite a bit. Still need to finish the last few eps, though.

Mmm. Still not much going on in the anime front here. Still haven't cracked my copy of Junni Kokki. A fact that should make Sun there weep.
Currently starting to re-watch Irresponsible Captain Tylor. Early 90's Sci-fi/Comedy. One of my personal favorites. If you haven't seen it, go watch it. Seriously.
Little snippet from the start of Ep....3 I think.

On the "Acquire and watch" list,
Martian Successor Nadesico
El-Hazard: TMW
Mmmm. Nothing else grabbing my interest right now.

FANTASTIC CHILDREN
genre: Romance, Sci-Fi, Past Life Regression
theme: Do not yearn for lives past. Such worlds are kept so far apart with good reason.
status: Unlicensed
watched: 26/26

This was the home series for Lady X and I for a bit. The animation is terrible, more due to my distaste for the style, rather than lack of quality or frames, but the storyline and world concepts are absolutely beautiful. The music too is to die for – best soundtrack EVER. This is an anime you absolutely have to get yer girl in on, lest you are into sappy stuff though (not that I ain’t).
Lady X had me start on Episode 2 of this series, then go back for the first, and looking back on it, I have to agree with her opinion on that, even if she’d only seen five episodes at the time. (You’ll have no idea wtf is going on, but yer in the same boat if you start at #1)
[minor spoilers]
From that view, the series opens up with a madman obsessed with the capture of what he believes to be seven albino child-vampires that appear every hundred years. He dubs these children the, “The Children of Belmontâ€
